Pre-Registration: There are two ways of accessing your individual court reporting instructions.
- Visit this web-site on the internet at http://jury.co.madison.il.us after 4:30 p.m. the Sunday, prior to your summons date.
- Automated telephone service: from a touch tone telephone, call 618-296-6610 after 4:30 p.m. the Sunday prior to your summons date. You will be instructed to enter your 6 digit identification number for your individual reporting times. The web-site and telephone system are also available on weekends and holidays for your convenience. However, it is not programmed for leaving a message.

Courthouse Location: The Madison County Courthouse is located on 155 North Main Street in Edwardsville, Illinois.
Juror Parking: Free parking for jurors is located in the Madison County parking lot. Entrance to the parking lot is located on North Second Street which is behind the Courthouse and Administration Building. North Second Street is accessible from St. Louis Street.
Emergencies: In the event of an emergency while you are on jury service, please notify our office immediately. Our office staff will be able to assist you. The Jury Commission Office number is: 618-296-4599 or 618-296-4576.
Attire: Jurors should dress appropriately in keeping with court room decorum. Jurors entering the Courthouse will be required to go through a magnetometer. All briefcases, purses and packages will be x-rayed by security. The following items are prohibited in the building: Firearms, Cameras, chemical sprays, metal belts, large scissors, knives, video tape recorders, audio recorders and work tools. Due to security regulations, you may be asked to return to your vehicle any items which could be used as a potential weapon. Please note you may be required to present positive identification on your appearance date.
Length of Service: Jury service can be for one week or one trial whichever is longer. The work day during jury service is usually 9:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., with at least one hour for lunch.
Juror Payment Information: Jurors will be compensated $25.00 for the first day and $50.00 for each day thereafter. You will be paid approximately ten working days after the completion of your service.
Certificate of Service: If your employer requires proof of attendance, you may ask the jury commission for documentation stating actual days of service.
